Salam Aidilfitri readers!!! 11 days late ke?...ehh raya kan sebulan...hehee apologise baru hari ini dapat update! Lazy mode plus no writting mojo! Excuses kan! Anyway, i hope everyone had a great 1st day raya. Yours truly had a great time too with family! I truly enjoyed my first day raya with my family. Enjoy my 1st Day raya photos ya!

My sister and I came a day earlier to my parents' to help cook raya dishes...hmmm with our bibiks too....biasala my sister, Liza was the cook that day. Mum being the chief cook! Yours truly tolong tengok-tengok kan je...nak rasa tak boleh, puasa! hehee. We cook laksa, lontong, kuah kacang and nasi impit and we ordered lemang and cakes. Mama masak her yummylicious rendang daging! Serious sangat-sangat sedap her rendang daging!

I hope it's not too late to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya and Maaf Zahir Batin. I know most of you will be having raya open houses and open houses to go this weekend! So have a great weekend peeps!

What's for Iftar?

Salam All, we had nasi ulam Utara's version for iftar yesterday. A very healthy choice isn't it not? Ada berbagai jenis ulam kalau ikut versi ori kena ada berpuluh-puluh species ulam but hok ni cuma dapat 7 jenis ulam hijau, bawang, halia, serai, bunga kantan, kerisik kelapa, udang kering, ikan kering dan lada hitam...semua dihiris halus.
Tada....

Makan ni kena 'gu' dengan masak assam keladi! So that's our iftar menu yesterday!

Weekend of Celebration

I'm officially 39 and in denial! Ngeeee

Last Saturday, my aunt hani who just got back from Mecca just a few days back decided to organise lunch at her beautiful home. Yours truly brought a cake and fish head curry to the table. Dah alang-alang all the family kat sana, i decided to cut my birthday cake there, not just one but 3 cakes! wee hoo thank you cuzzies sis ita, eena, azie and nieces nadja and jules. Bau lekat kat tangan seminggu...hahahaaa Little Miss Diva helping herself at the choclate fountain! Habis hati dia! Fresh strawberries, pineapple, marshmallows, biscuits and dried fruits. Pulut kuning pun ada. Nul brought fish head curry too! What a feast tee hee It's time to sing the 'song'! Why do i have to do the peace sign la?! Why so serious?! Makan-makan, chating-chating.... and the cutest boy...Ilyas! Thank you family, aunties, uncles, cuzzies, nieces and nephews who were there that day. My appreciation goes out to all of you...Jazakallah family!

Something Blue....

Something 'blue' from that 'someone'.... Yesiree, today is my birthday! Thank you Allah and here's to another year, InsyaAllah. Thank you all for all the wishes and doas. I'm forever grateful. Alhamdulillah.
